Karlyn Roberts has been hired by »ΚΉΪΜεΣύβs as the new manager of the Western Regional Office based in Calgary.

She joins the universityβs Office of Advancement after a 15-year career with the Calgary Herald advertising department, where she most recently held the title of senior advertising sales manager.
Karlynβs duties include engaging with alumni and supporting the universityβs Initiative Campaign. The fundraising campaign, which concludes in 2016, seeks to raise at least $500 million.
Calgary is an important city to »ΚΉΪΜεΣύβs because it is home to more than 4,200 »ΚΉΪΜεΣύβs alumni. It has one of the »ΚΉΪΜεΣύβs University Alumni Associationβs largest and most active branches outside of Ontario.

Karlynβs responsibilities extend beyond the Calgary area. She will also work with »ΚΉΪΜεΣύβs alumni and students from all across Western Canada, including Vancouver, Edmonton, Regina, and Saskatoon.
Karlyn graduated from »ΚΉΪΜεΣύβs with an honours BA in political studies. She also has a Masterβs degree in Communications Studies from the University of Calgary.
