Axelle Chevalier-H茅roux completed her two-year Natural Sciences degree (2016) at C茅gep du Vieux Montr茅al and earned her B.A. (2020) and M.A. (2024) in Art History from the Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al. Her master鈥檚 thesis focused on the architecture of the Mus茅e d鈥檃rch茅ologie de l鈥橢st du Qu茅bec, a notable 20th-century concrete museum in Rivi猫re-du-Loup.

She has gained extensive experience in collections care and management at the Mus茅e Bas-Saint-Laurent and the Mus茅e des m茅tiers d鈥檃rt du Qu茅bec, where she handled inventory, preventive conservation, photo-documentation, rehousing, and condition reporting. Additionally, she attended workshops by the Canadian Conservation Institute, enhancing her expertise in the care of various materials. Recently, Axelle Chevalier-H茅roux was awarded the Duncan and Urlla Carmichael Fellowship.
