The »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý’s tartan is held within as the "»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýs University Kingston Ontario" tartan.

It was designed by distinguished alumnus John Matheson.

The colours of the tartan represent the six academic hoods at »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý's: 

• blue for medicine
• red for arts and science
• gold for engineering
• white for nursing
• green for business
• purple for theology

on the Alumni Merchandise site.
