For the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution on 25 April, the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures (LLCU) at 皇冠体育鈥檚 University will be screening the movie "April Captains" (2010) by Maria de Medeiros, which is based on the true story of the 1974 coup that overthrew the right-wing Portuguese dictatorship - which continued the fascist policies of long-time dictator Ant贸nio Salazar - and of the young army captains who were involved in it.
