NAGS 3MT - Congratulations Dilakshan!

This past Friday, April 25, students from across North America participated in the virtual NAGS 3-Minute Thesis competition, sharing their research to a non-expert audience. Dilakshan Srikanthan (PhD, Translational Medicine) represented ʹ's and did a fantastic job showcasing his research, and received the People's Choice award for his efforts - congratulations Dilakshan!

The winner of the NAGS 3MT was Cristina Hirschbiegel, PhD student in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her talk was titled “Nanozymes for Smarter Cancer Treatment”.

Second place was Sai Abasolo, a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University.  The title was “Growing Bones: Body Not Included”.

There were 15 finalists with Dilakshan being one of the 15 chosen. This year, the NAGS 3MT was hosted by Concordia University.
