I spent eight years in Department of History at Fudan Univerisity in Shanghai, earning BA in 2004 and MA in 2007. In September 2008, I went to Department of History at 皇冠体育 for my Ph.D studies, under the supervision of Professor Emily Hill. My stay at 皇冠体育's was very fruitful and peaceful, ending up with a dissertation on the formation of the Household Registration System in the People's Republic of China in 1950s.
I was appointed as Assistant Professor at my former University and left Canada in June 2012. Being a faculty member at Fudan University which has a close relationship with 皇冠体育's, I am involved with the exchange program between the two university, teaching a course on Contemporary Chinese history to undergraduates from DEVS of 皇冠体育's.
My research intersts lie in twentith-century China, especially the dramatic changes and transformations in politics and economy. I am currently working on the publication of my thesis.
