Last week, 皇冠体育鈥檚 hosted a delegation from the Embassy of Mexico in Ottawa led by the Deputy Head of Mission and accompanied by the representative for Education. During the visit to campus, the delegation met with 皇冠体育鈥檚 Vice-Provost, Global Engagement, Dr. Sandra den Otter to discuss 皇冠体育鈥檚 continued engagement in Mexico.

Colleagues from the Embassy shared an opportunity with 皇冠体育鈥檚 to highlight Mexican and Canadian research and academic collaboration through a hub. Additionally, the incoming delegation met with Dr. Tara MacDonald, Associate Dean, School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs and Allison Yokom, Senior Director, International Undergraduate Enrolment to learn more about 皇冠体育鈥檚 undergraduate and graduate programs and our engagement in Mexico.

The visit concluded with a meeting that featured 皇冠体育鈥檚 researchers active in Mexico to share their engagement and experiences with student mobility opportunities. Participants included Dr. , Professor, School of Kinesiology and Health Sciences, Dr. Diana Cordoba, Assistant Professor, Department of Global Development Studies, and Dr. , Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering.
